Product Marketing Specialist
Business Unit or Team:
Facility or Location:
Decatur, Texas USA
How long at Entegris?:
I have been with Entegris for 11 years.
I am responsible for:
Supporting field sales, customers and suppliers with product information, production timelines and technical support for the semiconductor markets worldwide.
My top priority is to:
Ensure memorable interaction by being kind, friendly and going above and beyond expectations, whether it be with customers, operations or sales. Technical knowledge is a must for the position, but the extra effort with people is what sets the interactions apart.
What I like most about working for Entegris is:
It’s the diversity I encounter daily. My morning may start with supporting teams on the East Coast in ion implant. By afternoon, I may be supporting an etch opportunity on the West Coast. My evening might be explaining the material specifics of specialty materials to our Taiwan teams. Day-to-day, the problems, the solutions and the regions are never the same. I love that I am constantly challenged, learning and growing within this position.
When I first started at Entegris, my role was:
Laboratory Analyst in the Technical and Development Lab. My background was in teaching first, and then as a lab analyst. My current position feels like a perfect combination of my passions. I get to teach about the materials in the Special Materials group and I’m using technical skills analyzing the ever-changing Semiconductor industry.
When I am not working, I like to:
I’m well known for baking lots of cakes, pies and desserts—a skill passed from my Mom and my great-grandmother, both famous for their Texas Pecan Pie. My colleagues are very willing test subjects, and I won’t deny that it surely helps production schedules, design discussions and a Monday from time-to-time. I also really love to travel, which I get to do in this position. My favorite travels involve the random times conversations are struck and the unexpected happens. I grew up in a very small town (population 200), so to be able to see the world, be exposed to so many cultures, ideas and customs….it truly is a joyful gift.
