Senior Vice President and President, Specialty Chemicals and Engineered Materials
Stuart Tison
Stuart is currently a senior vice president and the president of the Specialty Chemicals and Engineered Materials (SCEM) division for Entegris which provides high-performance and high-purity process chemistries, gases and materials, and safe and efficient delivery systems to support semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing processes. He has served as senior vice president since June 2016 and is responsible for leading Entegris’ material businesses including specialty gases, deposition materials, wet chemistries, coatings, and other specialty materials.
Stuart joined Entegris in 2007 to lead corporate development and new market development (2007-2014) and oversaw acquisitions of companies which led to the formation of the Entegris SCEM division.
Previous to joining Entegris, Stuart was vice president of engineering for Celerity (2005-2007) where he led product development and manufacturing of flow and pressure instrumentation. Prior experience included managing the Gas Delivery business unit and Corporate Technology for Mykrolis Corporation. He previously led the Pressure and Vacuum Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (Department of Commerce) where he was employed in various research positions from 1989 to 1998.
Stuart received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He holds more than 10 patents and has authored numerous publications in the area of instrumentation and contamination control. He maintains leadership positions at ASTM, ISO, and supports activities at BPSA (Bio-Process System Alliance) and ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers).
