Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer

Olivier Blachier

Olivier joined Entegris in 2021 and is responsible for the company’s strategic planning, merger and acquisition activities, and for the commercialization of emerging businesses.

Between 2007 and 2021, Olivier held various senior leadership positions at Air Liquide Group, a global leader in gases, technologies, and services for the industrial and healthcare sectors. From 2018 until 2021, he was based in Taiwan serving as president of Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) and vice president of electronics where he led the growth of the company’s electronics business in Greater China. Prior to joining Entegris, he was serving as APAC vice president for the hydrogen and energy transition business and also was supervising the implementation of capital projects in Asia related to plant construction.

Prior to his time at Air Liquide, Olivier led acquisitions and joint ventures for Edwards, Ltd., a global vacuum and abatement process equipment leader and subsidiary of BOC Group.

Olivier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering as well as a Master of Science in fluid mechanics from Grenoble Poly-technique National Institute in France.
