Robert Bruggeworth
BACKGROUND
Mr. Bruggeworth is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience leading companies that provide innovative semiconductor solutions. He has served as president and chief executive officer of Qorvo, Inc. since January 1, 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Bruggeworth served as president and chief executive officer of RF Micro Devices, Inc. from January 2003 until December 2014, when RF Micro Devices, Inc. and TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. merged to form Qorvo. From June 2002 until January 2003, he served as president of RF Micro Devices. Before that, he served as vice president and then president of RF Micro Devices’ wireless products group. Prior to joining RF Micro Devices, Mr. Bruggeworth held various leadership positions at AMP Inc., a supplier of electrical and electronic connection devices, from July 1983 to April 1999.
Mr. Bruggeworth has served as a member of the board of directors of Qorvo since December 2013. Additionally, he has served as member of the board of directors of MSA Safety Inc. since 2007 and was elected chairman in May 2026. He also serves on the board of directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), where he served as chair in 2021. Previously, he served as a member of the board of directors of Seagate Technology Holdings plc from November 2022 until October 2024.
Mr. Bruggeworth holds a bachelor's degree from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
QUALIFICATIONS
Through his role as chief executive officer of Qorvo and its predecessor company, RF Micro Devices, Mr. Bruggeworth brings to the board a deep understanding of managing a large global semiconductor business. Through his leadership of Qorvo and his prior roles, Mr. Bruggeworth has developed extensive expertise in strategic planning, business integration, operational efficiencies and sourcing for high-technology products. These experiences provide the board with the unique perspective of navigating industry cycles, driving growth and governing complex global technology businesses.
