We are pleased to announce our participation in EUROMED 2026 – Clean Water and Energy, organized by the European Desalination Society (EDS). As a Silver Sponsor of this year’s event, we look forward to engaging with the desalination and water treatment community and contributing to discussions on reliable and sustainable seawater desalination solutions. Our team will be present throughout the conference to discuss challenges and best practices in seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) pretreatment, with a particular focus on filtration system design, material selection, and long term operational reliability in harsh marine environments.

Material Selection and Design Challenges of GRP Filtration Housings for Seawater RO Pretreatment
This poster examines the selection and design challenges of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) filtration housings used in seawater reverse osmosis pretreatment. It evaluates GRP material performance under corrosive marine conditions, sustained hydraulic loads, and exposure to pretreatment chemicals. Key design and operational aspects—including pressure rating, structural integrity, standards compliance, installation, inspection, and long term durability—are discussed and compared with metallic alternatives to support informed, lifecycle based design decisions for SWRO facilities.

Are All Pre-RO Filters Made Equal?
Desalination is an important source of fresh water for a growing number of people. As such, pre-reverse osmosis (RO) filtration is also becoming more important because it helps increase throughput and reduce downtime. When selecting a cartridge filter, do the same format and retention rating equal the same performance? Watch our desalination webinar and learn why you should dig deeper.
CONTAMINATION CONTROL SOLUTIONS FOR DESALINATION OPERATIONS WITH GILBERT PARRY
In this video, Gilbert Parry, director, water treatment market, explains the next generation of desalination contamination control technologies for pre-RO and CIP applications. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA), the Entegris design ensures robust and well-engineered designs that exhibit much easier installation, operation, and maintenance.
