Join Entegris and learn how we’re making high-quality, high-performance silicon carbide (SiC) space optics more achievable and affordable. Traditional SiC optics are difficult to machine and limited in terms of complexity. By contrast, our process starts with machined graphite, which is then chemically converted to SiC. This results in much more varied forms that are easier to produce while retaining the precision measurements you need. Visit our booth to see examples of our work and learn more about our recent successes in space.
