Entegris’ Largest Manufacturing Facility
Entegris has opened a new facility in Southern Taiwan's Kaohsiung Science Park to support manufacturing the most advanced semiconductors and increase production capabilities for advanced liquid filters, high-purity drums, and advanced deposition materials. Entegris plans to invest approximately $500 million in the 54,000 square-meter facility. This investment will generate advanced manufacturing capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions to customers with less waste and decreased energy and water consumption. The new facility will also help Entegris provide greater supply chain security. With shorter lead times to customers across the region, our partnerships will create process and product synergies while sharing resources and talent.
Fostering the local semiconductor ecosystem
All of Entegris’ divisions are now combined in the Kaohsiung Science Park. This creates a locally integrated supply chain that addresses the geographic gaps between us and some of our most important partners.
Driving Smart manufacturing
We will deliver advanced, high-quality solutions for our customers with advanced cleanroom manufacturing, producing larger volumes at higher quality and with less waste.
Supporting sustainability goals
More than 85% of water usage from the production will be recycled for daily operations. Additionally, we are working with local utility providers to source more of our power needs from renewable energy, including on-site solar panels.
Expanding local employment
Entegris has nearly 720 full-time employees in Taiwan and expects to add several hundred more over the next few years as the new facility becomes fully operational.
