President, Materials Solutions and Senior Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer
Olivier Blachier
Olivier was appointed President, Materials Solutions and Senior Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer in 2026 and is responsible for driving the strategy to deliver full end-to-end Materials Solutions for Entegris customers while also overseeing Entegris' advanced Innovation and Technology function, including Entegris Ventures, its digital innovation strategy, and the company's technology partnerships with leading semiconductor industry stakeholders. Prior to this appointment, Olivier served as Entegris’ Chief Strategy Officer since joining Entegris in 2021, overseeing the company's strategic planning, merger and acquisition activities, and commercialization of new businesses
Between 2007 and 2021, Olivier held various senior leadership positions at Air Liquide Group, a global leader in gases, technologies, and services for the industrial and healthcare sectors. From 2018 until 2021, he was based in Taiwan serving as president of Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) and vice president of electronics where he led the growth of the company’s electronics business in Greater China. Prior to joining Entegris, he was serving as APAC vice president for the hydrogen and energy transition business and supervised the implementation of capital projects in Asia related to plant construction.
Prior to his time at Air Liquide, Olivier led acquisitions and joint ventures for Edwards, Ltd., a global vacuum and abatement process equipment leader and subsidiary of BOC Group.
Olivier holds a Master of Science in fluid mechanics and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Grenoble Poly-technique National Institute in France.
